c-notch help fast please doing it right now..

ok so im installing the c-notch right now in my 69 C10 the install instructions are in bad shap right out of the box but it looks like they want me to take the rivets out of the track bar mount on the frame ???? is that right can i not run my stock bar with a notch??? and if not im guessing that i dont mount it in the same spot it came from thanx for the help..again and again

ok after another look it looks like they want me to bolt the notch in the holes that will be left after i grind the rivets out on the track bar ...sorry the instructions that cpp sent me are torn and dirty...

yes thats it thanx man just wanted to get it in and didnt even think to look on the cpp site...the rivets are crazy to get out ground both sides of the rivet off and couldnt knock the slug out...had to drill a hole in it then knock it out not fun...

Im getting ready today to take on those rivets today myself. Relocating the rear top shock brackets.

well if you cut a X into the top of the rivet you can knock the heads off fast with a chisel and hammer....far faster then grinding them off with a flap disk on a grinder..

Even with a Blue Point air chisel they can be tough mo-fos to get out. Some fall right out and others take a LOT of effort.

out of 8...only one was (easy) and it wasnt very easy at all...would love to see this done in 4 hours lol lol im on day 2 and still not done

lol i was looking over at it when i was doing the notch....i think i would start with a new frame...cab off....the frame under my truck is not in the best shape
