brake master cylinder question
Time for a brake job. I would like to get away from the stock jelly jar master cylinder and go to a dual chamber one for saftey. Gonna stick to the drum brakes all the way around. Is there a master cylinder from say a camero or nova that would bolt right in?

Re: brake master cylinder question
67 Impala will do the trick, $24 from advance auto parts, just make sure you specify drum/drum

Re: brake master cylinder question
here ya go. I used the mc from a 67 C10 (but 67 Imp works as nicely - they look a little different sometimes). Make sure you request a MANUAL mc if you plan to retain non-power brakes. You will not likely need to cut the rod, or even adjust it (much) if converting to manual dual res master. If going to power at the same time, recommend buy booster AND mc combo for a 67 C10 and use CaptainFab's booster bracket. Will require some level of mod to the booster and some widening of the mounting holes on the bracket (I think), but it's also a great upgrade. I just went to dual res mc for safety, thread below, it's an easy project, enjoy!
