Re: lsx swaps trucks at the drags

Nice! All it would take is a bit of weight to get it into the 12's!

Just curious as my truck isnt finished yet, any time slips for a stock LS1 in a 67-72 full weight SWB?

Re: lsx swaps trucks at the drags

For the old combo in my sig. Combo was:

Forger 347ci
ported factory heads (8 year old port now)
243/250 cam
single plain intake with dominator tb
1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 headers
4l80e
4,500 rpm verter
4.56 with 30" tire

It was not an optimal NA combo. Neede more verter and gear.

Thanks, the air was hot and hummid that day, but with better weather it would be the 12.9s for sure and I've told my multi disk converter is slowing me dow a litlle and it's only holding to 2,000 On foot brake at best before
It moves and only flash stalls to 2500 what it looks like, with cool weather and proper stall it should be in 12.8s for sure

Re: lsx swaps trucks at the drags

LY6 with Comp LSr cam, dual spring/titanium retainer .650 spring kit, chromemoly p-rods and 4L85e ...and ran 8.4x's at 88.xx mph in the 1/8th. No idea what it runs on efi....I'm hoping a tad better as it never was completely dialed in on the carb.

hoping to get some passes/racing in soon....to see if it has 7's/12's (1/8th and 1/4mi) in it w/o any power adders.
