Road trip!!
Drivin the 71 to Texas this weekend. Startin to get excited! Also if anyone needs anything hauled between Az and Texas id be glad to help!!

Made it to Texas,trouble free! Truck gets about 14 mpg at 65mph.Less at faster speeds which it loves to run,lmao. Pretty good for an old beat up farm truck I rescued!

Whewww,made it back to Az! No problems other than a broken alternator belt in Roswell/dang aliens,lol!Averaged 12 to 17 mpgs depending on speed and if the a/c was on or not!Awesome trip/would do it again in a heartbeat!

It was about 15 hours each way,drove striaght through both ways. Delivered a grill to Deadheadnm fir his truck.Super nice guy! Was supposed to meet up with Ole dollor but was 11:30 when we drove through his town,lol.Hopefully next time ole dollor. We had a/c for the trip,stayin 47 degress was pretty nice.Alot of the route we took was in the high deserts so temps werent that bad. My wife isnt the best pic taker around but here are a few!

Thanks for sharing your trip and pictures with us. Great to hear that everything went well. I remember reading this thread before you went and was hoping it would work out. I plan on someday using my truck as a daily driver and be able to cruise it everywhere and for long road trips.
