$400 '71 C/20 survivor
Although there's not a lot of wow factor for a 2bbl 307/TH350 LWB C/20, this truck has won me over. It's stock except for the electronic ignition, dual exhaust, glasspacks, Blaupunkt CD player and dual tank setup. I bought her in May from a guy that thought it needed a new carb. Nope! after a fresh set of AC R45TS plugs (#7 was fouled and all of the plugs were Autolites ), this truck passed emissions and safety inspection with flying colors.
Any love out there for this kind of plain jane 3/4 ton 2wd? |

It runs, drives, its cleaner than mine, and most importantly it was cheap! Sounds like it deserves a lot of love to me

For $400 I would've expected to see a BB SWB. Oh well, good luck with it.

Re: $400 '71 C/20 survivor
Hell of a good deal. You stole that truck at that price.
I paid $50 for my Cheyenne 20 but it didn't look as good as yours. LOL

For your truck that works out to approximately nine cents per pound. Congrats !

Re: $400 '71 C/20 survivor
That's a smokin' hot deal! Each model has it's own personality and purpose. The C/20s are work horses that won't quit. That 307 will likely outlast a 350. I don't know what it is,but those babies live long and have more than adequate power to dowhutchagottado. I could use one like that.

Re: $400 '71 C/20 survivor
nice truck. I'd say that's a hell of a deal, i just paid $300 for an old 67 farm truck that is beat to hell with the "flintstone" driver side floor board, lots of "drain" holes in the bed and all the mouse crap u could ask for. my 67 is the same green as your guys trucks to, must be a utah thing.
