the right condenser for 134?
it says that it works with 134 but is it the one that is for 134 with the smaller tubes for the better transfer of heat? or do any of you know where to find one?

Re: the right condenser for 134?
Any condenser will "work with" R134. Some work better than others. R134 needs a lot more cooling efficiency than R12 or Hydrocarbon blends.
OEM Tube & Fin = OK performance. Serpentine = somewhat better performance. Parallel flow = the best you can get right now. Condenser types illustrated American Condenser manufactures a parallel flow condenser in the US for the 83-91 GM CK light truck AC systems.

Re: the right condenser for 134?
That one at autozone is the right manufacturer, right type(parallel flow), and right part number. I found (around here a least) that you will not get the exact condenser listed. You'll get the tube and fin style which isn't as good with 134. Mine even came in a box with the original part # crossed out and the other one written on it, but it was NOT the right type.
You DO want that part #(7-3642), just not from autozone. Search for the # on the net, and find the cheapest place. Was going to link you to where I got mine, but they don't seem to stock it anymore. This site has a pic to give you an idea of what the different types look like.
