Last call... Longhorn 400 valve cover decals
I am about to try to have custom-printed new set of the proper big block valve cover decals found on my 402 Custom Camper. In a subject I've beat to death, the "Invader 400" decals everyone offers are for the Sprint, not our trucks.
This decal -might- be specific to longhorns, as I've only ever seen it on longhorns and in longhorn promo material. But I can't see why that would be. In any event, I still need a better photo of an original to use as a reference. No one has come up with a better photo yet, so I'm still working from my own ratty pair. Presuming then vendor I'm using can do what they claim, they will be on metal foil, as original, and embossed 3D like the original. If you have or can obtain a good closeup photo of an original, I'll thank you by sending you a set free of charge if it's your photo I wind up using. Then I'll sell the rest at $1000 a set because that's probably what it will take to cover my costs :-)
