glovebox door question please

i just repainted the glove box door and figured out how the hinge and the metal wire goes onto the door to help pop it open. i replaced the hinge to door attaching screws with #10 machine screws. my question is what is used to attach the hinge to the dash? dad had removed the door years ago and doesnt remember. the dash has 4 holes that are larger than a #10 screw and have no threads like the door has. i assume it must use the slide on clips? if so are they the sheetmetal type or do they use the same machine screw as the door takes? thanks , Jay
