Re: Looking for clean original 72 Gas Tank

Coming down my way soon? I'd sell a nice one to you for 80 if you picked it up.

Re: Looking for clean original 72 Gas Tank

Have one that I have already pulled from my 72 swb about a month ago.......sold the sending unit out of it to a local guy. Tank is clean inside & out......will take pics of outside & use video snake to show inside. Was my daily driver till taken apart for some changes. How bout $75.00 plus shipping? Let me know. Would ship from 63020

I understand about the shipping part, it does seem like it would be rather
difficult. Does your tank have the ECC Emissions ? if so I don't think it would correct for my truck.

If it is the right one for my truck, if you decide you may want to ship it, let me know a price

Thank you,
Ray

ME TOO!

According to the LMC description I found online, the fuel neck has the vent hose on it? Not sure exactly sure myself. It is possible all 72 tanks are the same. Mine was removed years ago replaced with one from I believe a 70, it doesn't have a return line. My truck still has the return line in the cab though.

thanks,
Ray

Re: Looking for clean original 72 Gas Tank

72 1/2 ton trucks will have the vent hose on the neck (non vented cap)
72 3/4 ton trucks used the earlier design with the vented cap.
