Foreign model names for our trucks?

Last time I was in Mexico I noticed that what I call an F-150 was called (I think) a "Lobo", which I assume is Wolf in Spanish.

That got me thinking... does anyone know any other model-equivalent names from other countries?

For example, when I was growing up my Dad had a 68 GMC 910. So in Canada I think our trucks were:

910 = 1500 (C10)
920 = 2500 (C20)
930 = 3500 (C30)

Any other examples?

Re: Foreign model names for our trucks?

There are F-series too, they are used for work. "LOBO" are luxurious trucks. F-150 are called "AUSTERA" no too many options.

Chevy has the SILVERADO They are for light work no accessories and CHEYANNE

Re: Foreign model names for our trucks?

Way back Canada-built GM trucks were Maple Leafs.

In Mexico in this era they were C/Diez,C/Veinte,and C/Treinta. They called the top of the line GMCs Big Mountain and the next one down just Mountain
