Defrost vents

Which defrosts vents have you gotten tO actually snap in?? I've tried LMC, and classic industries both black and chrome. I have a NOS passenger side and it snaps in fine. I need a left LOL. Damn Chinese parts. I don't want a rattling defrost vent

I got the heat gun out, heated up the lock tabs and bent them out a little bit... No more problems...

I guess I got lucky with my LMC's, they don't pop out. But I have plenty of problems with volume and temperature. LOL

I got a set from these guys. http://www.classicparts.com/default.asp They have been in my truck for about a year and 1/2, have not come out yet.

Volume and temp problems are usually caused by rodent nests blocking the heater core. When they are clean they are like political candidates, they put out a LOT of hot air...

Another vote for manestruckparts.com, I got a set from there and snapped in nice and tight. I actually finally got around to hooking up the heater yesterday and to reach up through the bottom of the dash to push them back out!
