Early to later?

Found a perfect dash pad in a 1975,will it work in my 84 and can i use my gages abd bezel?

Yes the dash will fit. you will also need the Gauge bezel from the 70's. The newer bezels stick out to far.

Unless you just really like the look of the earlier dash I would look around for the right one. There are a lot of people looking for nice early dashes and it would probably be worth selling and buying the correct one for your truck

It won't match your door panels very well. I agree, sell it and buy an 81+ pad

Color dosn~t matter,i need to replace other parts as well,truck is going to be black,havn~t made my mind up on brown/saddle interior or gray,thanks for the tips. I can~t let this dash go its nice

an early pad 78 and a later dash 88 left a funny gap at the top
i run a 89 pad with a 78 dash ,fits great
i did put my 88 pad loose in the 79 and the "tan" was very close in colour

wont work, 1975 dash wont have a vin opening since they were on cab/door striker area....your 84 vin would be covered up
