Re: On the way to pick up a 72 GMC Step
You are braver than I am for taking a road trip like that first time in an old vehicle. At least you got home under your own power and didn't have to be towed. 900 miles, no radio, hot wind blowin in on ya, wondering what else will fail. Lots of time to think. And think. 11 mpg, 1 1/2 qt oil, rebuild current engine or late model 5.3 crate w/ od trans? hmmm.
Oh and by the way, that Camaro looks awesome.

Re: On the way to pick up a 72 GMC Step
Glad you made it back with no more excitement. Good thing about no radio is that it gives you lots of time to think, and it definitely shows in your to-do list. Gonna be a nice ride!

Re: On the way to pick up a 72 GMC Step
that is what I'm building now. If you decide to sell the radio delete cover I would be happy to purchase it. My radio is going elsewhere. Welcome to the forum and to the club of 4 eyes owners.
