Weird turn signal issue
My signals were working perfectly up until today, I had pulled the cluster out of the dash to painted the inside chrome and at the same time removed the head light switch. I accidentally broke the headlight switch (switch that turns them on and off, not the dimmer) so I got a replacement from the junkyard.
After getting everything back together everything works except my signals, they will sometimes flash normally, but then randomly do several quick flashes, then back to normal. There doesn't appear to be any patter, just random quick flashes. Where should I start looking, a ground? Does the switch I replaced control any of that, or could I have done something to the connector on the bottom of the column? |

Re: Weird turn signal issue
swap your flashers arouind to see if it still does it. If it doesn't then it's the flasher. Replace the flashers with (personal choice) an electronic flasher like NAPA part # EL-12
