Help with fuel gauge light

I recently switched out all my old burnt out instrument panel lights for LEDs. However when I took the dash apart I noticed the light behind the fuel gauge (upper right) wasn't hooked up and I can not for the life of me figure out where the black wire that comes off of it plugs in. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Help with fuel gauge light

It doesn't plug into anything. It's a fiber optic cable that runs to the top of the ash tray and provides a light for it. You'll see a slot in the ashtry for the cable.
