looks like ya got a we bit close with the can to the dash. more light coats usually comes out better than less thick coats, but i tend to do the same thing when i start getting impatient. ah well u live ya learn then ya relearn then relearn again, that's gonna be one shiny lookin interior though.

you may want to invest in some good sandpaper for the dash the door panels look fine

I have always been told when using rattle can always use long strokes, do the edges first, and never stop until your not spraying anymore. Ive done this and basicly built up the confidence to paint my own truck with it coming out pretty good. Once you got that down the skill will save you mucho pesos to put more bad!@# stuff on the truck I really like the idea with your shiny interior

Re: Redid my dash and doors a little ( PICS THIS TIME )

another problem with that paint is you will be wearing it! I painted my gas tank with that stuff and a little comes off every time I touch it. For rattle can you can't beat valspar tractor implement enamel, also sold as plastikote the plastikote is the same stuff but has a higher content of solids in the can witch means you get more paint for your money! I wish the paint store I went to would have told me about it sooner, one can of the plasti is about 2 of the implement

Re: Redid my dash and doors a little ( PICS THIS TIME )

I had a friend/neighbor shoot under the hood and the glove box door with a rattle can and lots of people were surprised that it was from a rattle can...it's all about practice.

Rattle can paint can stick well if the prep was done right and primer was used....

Re: Redid my dash and doors a little ( PICS THIS TIME )

Nothing a little sand paper wont fix. When i use a rattle can i get all the hard to reach areas then dust the areas that i think will run. Then wait a little bit and let the paint get tacky.Every body has thier own way of doing it.Im thinking of doing the spray bomb on my 72 and spraying a fawn color like the 60-66 have.
