Re: Any other projects in your garage?
I have a 70 impala that I picked up about 2 months ago for 300 bucks. It didn't have a title so I got it cheap. I'm just going to throw a cheap 350 in it and redo the front seat so I can drive it around. I also have a 1966 Yamaha 125cc two stroke that I will be totally restoring in the dining room this winter. I got that bike for 95 bucks again with no title. I buy anything cheap if it has no title and go thru VT DMV for a title.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
Here's one I had awhile back. In this photo it looks like it's getting ready to fly away ...which it did not long afterward. Loved that color combo.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
long story short, I bought the car sight unseen and although it was decent, it was not near the car it was supposed to be. If the vette market had not exploded like it did back back then, I would still be paying for that mistake. I sold it after a couple years and was really glad to break even. ..Whew!

Man, there is some really slick vintage gear on that coupe....unless my eyes are playing with me. I am all for the Hilborn injection mod, very sick project!

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
I'm getting ready to swap out my 63' chevy 1/2 ton rear wheel drive trucks steering column (three on the tree) for a automatic steering column. The truck already has a chevy 3 speed turbo automatic tranny with a floor shifter. I simply want to put the shifter back on the column. I was informed that the easy swap would be a automatic column out of a half ton 1967-71 chevy truck. That it would be almost an exact bolt on swap. I know, I know, buying a new automatic steering column w/tilt would be the easy way out. What would be the fun in that ? Oh yea, I'm also installing an aftermarket power steering kit. Any help confirming this information i recieved from the (HOUSE of KNOWLEDGE) would be of great help, THANKS.
