Show Me Your Motors

Im trying to decide how to dress up my 350 for my 72 short fleet if it ever comes home from the body shop. Cant decide if I want to make it look like stock or modified .Im leaning toward modified since its not original anyway so give me some ideas to steal / borrow .

Here's my '67's 010 327 long block. Picture it with an LT-1 Camaro dual snorkel air cleaner in black with all stock accessories and factory flex fan.

Sorry I cheated only sbc I've done up nice is in my boat. After basic rebuild I ground, sanded and polished the block and heads to get a nice smooth surface to paint. No casting flash, no ledges or overhangs where heads meet block radiusing square edges. All of this work makes the engine easier to clean later. Its a ton of work and makes a huge mess.

Oh back within the rules, the 5.3 that's in my truck. Everything is painted because bare aluminum corrodes and looks bad. Engine still looks good 3 years of dd later.
