ok - call me a woman again, but here's the dumb question....

is "Schleprock" the type of spring or coil you used to get that stance?

BTW, the stance in the back looks great! nice and even. i assume you did something to get it that way! what did you do?

also, i like the change in the wheels! why is it that every previous-owner of these trucks always put aluminum slot wheels on our trucks? is this a fad or phase or trend or something? i'm probably too young to know.

nice stepside, dude! kudos!

Thanks everyone, it seems to take forever to get any progress done. Ill be lookin for some front fenders and a passenger door at Pomona this weekend. Jewels, Schleprock was a cartoon character on the Flinstones cartoon where Pebbles and Bam Bam are teenagers. Everywhere he went it was bad luck. Thats my truck. Its a 3/5 drop, all spring in front, 4 inch spring/1 inch block in the back. I may need 1 more inch in front, but thatll require spindles and disks. Too much money for that right now. Buster, I will definitely see you Sunday.

Paint, I think Ted has fenders and doors. I can't bring them this trip, going in a NICE 58 Chevy SWB........too pretty to haul parts. If you can't find them at Pomona, I can bring them next trip. BTW, the guy selling the 58 is Charlie; he's the guy I got your steering shaft from.

What was that old tune Getting better all the time? Find some 15" trim rings off of a S-10 and it will really light up those rally's. They don't cover as much as the originals but look just right in my opinion. Not that it has ever been worth anything. We'll be on the back fence near the end of the lot selling Corvette parts at Pamona. Coming in early Sun. morning.

Smitty, you probably know the overflow fills up sometimes pretty early. Would hate to see you get turned away.
