Re: US Tom
Pix as requested, but framed to keep the unlowered unseen.
Before: After I'm going to install the front end stuff and then decide if it needs blocks or not.

Re: US Tom
Started tearing the front suspension apart yesterday.
Here's the before pic. Kinda grungy under here, but not as bad as others I've done. I've decided to go ahead and bag this thing while I've got it apart. I've got a lot of extra parts sitting around so I may as well use them here.

It's kind of funny - the lift is nice for sure - I hate working on my back. But I'm just over 6' and the lift doesn't quite go high enough so I have to bend over to get underneath it or stoop. Failing to bend over enough results in a nice knock to the cranium. Got to see your cab. Won't be long now.

Re: US Tom
Well... There has been some progress. I ordered a gizmo from PorterBuilt to mount the air tank and compressor(s). The drivers side brakes are installed and I started on the other side today. Most scraping 10 pounds of grunge off of stuff.
Pics tomorrow.

Re: US Tom
Here's some pics.
Taking it apart. Grunge. I hate cleaning this stuff up. I need to start with a nice, fresh frame like Steiny does. Starting to look a bit fresher. When the engine comes out, I'll clean the rest of the engine compartment. Probably not the best order to do things - just the way the project has evolved, so I go with the flow. Tubular arms from CPP. Nice pieces, powdercoated, with nice welds. Plate added for upper bag mount and bag installed. The Ride Tech pieces are playing nicely with the CPP parts. Before / After 13" Brake kit from Rob at No Limit. Just a bit heavier duty. Look at the difference in the caliper size. I'm telling you what - after the Biscayne debacle, Tom has been a relative breeze. Parts from three different vendors all worked together perfectly.

Re: US Tom
Great job Steve.. Seems like it is endless when you start on one of these trucks.. It will be one year on mine on the 18th.. and I still find greasy parts.. lol...
You said you were going to pull the engine.. what are you plans? Keep up the good work..

Re: US Tom
Thanks for jumping in Andrew. Seems we have parallel interests. I had a 95 Imp back in 95. What a great road car that was. It was black, and when people saw me coming up on them they would pull over like I was a LEO. I have a 69 Camaro that I will be getting around to one of these years.
