Yeah, I noticed that too. That doesn't sound like an ideal combination.

Re: She's BIG!!

Man-O-Man! That thing looks like a real tail dragging monster.
You'd definitely have to be careful about picking your driveways! I would say in some situations you'd be stranded 1/2 way in or out of a (Gas station?) driveway with all four rear wheels dangling in the air, somebody behind you blowing their horn, while you're on the phone trying to call a wrecker to drag you out and back onto all six wheels! No thanks!
If it's a nice cab, toss the living quarters in the dump, cut and splice the frame, then inst. a nice pickup bed of your choice.

Re: She's BIG!!

Wonder if it's a home made deal (possibly out of a trailer) or actual built and produced camper? Wish they would of posted some pics of the inside, some of those old campers have a lot of nice wood finishes inside. Definitely would be careful where you take it, can you imagine what would happen to it if you were rear ended?

That is CRAZY huge for a 1/2 ton, pretty cool though. It should come with it's own mailbox.

Re: She's BIG!!

the truck belongs to us. there are more pics in the for sale section here. and some more comments and questions answered there. my original idea was to cut it and make it the short bed because the cab is so nice. when i got it to our place all the loafers hanging around said no cutting this one someone will want it as a camper! the inside is dated but very usable. drove it home over an hour.

Re: She's BIG!!

I'm seriously thinking about buying this thing for the sole purpose of driving it to holiday family functions at my snotty better-than-you sister in laws house in her ritsy neighborhood. I would love to do my cousin Eddie impression and camp out at the curb for a few days.

Re: She's BIG!!

Wonder if I should get it and go on the Hot Rod Power Tour....

Probably need to buy stock in BP or Shell first, and may need to have a chase truck with a couple 55 gallon drums of fuel on hand... Hmm...

It would be easy to swap 1t suspension under for all those concerned.
