We're shock absorbers standard or optional?

I have seen a lot of SPID's with front shock absorber option. We're the front shock absorber an option or were they standard with some packages? Also were the rear shock absorbers standard or optional. I need to get a SPID from chip flyer but want make it as accurate as possible.

Shock absorbers were standard on the front of C10-C30 pickups and K10-20 pickups. Rear shock absorbers were standard on C10-C20 and K10-K20. On SPIDs both standard and option RPOs may be printed on it. A lot dependes on the build, plant and year.

Re: We're shock absorbers standard or optional?

There was a heavy duty shock option,so that can show on the SPID as just shock absorbers.

. . . .

I've always thought that my 70 C-10's F51 shocks were the optional, heavy duty ones.

Steve, The RPO F51 is the front and rear HD shock option in some applications. I was going to type this out, but.....
