New show Vegas full of old iron

I just caught the tail end of the new show "Vegas" on my tivo and saw some 60's trucks. It's set in the 60's in Vegas. I counted about 2 60-63 Chevys (no GMCs yet) in just the last few minutes. T

With scenes like this it piqued my interest enough to schedule a recording next week.

Some people are like slinkys. Not worth much but funny as heck when pushed down stairs.

We watched the other night too. Even tho it's a Dodge, the main character's truck is pretty bad ass! LOL. Lot's of old Caddy's and Lincolns.

Yup, they definitely could have done better picking the "star" truck. The scenery is pretty sweet though. I hope they don't start a bunch of indoor filming to keep costs down.

I didn't like it that right at the beginning of the show they put "Las Vegas, 1960," then almost none of the cars were 1960 or older. Still kind of a fun show, but I think that old Dodge truck is ugly.

I think the old and ugly dodge fits the profile of the character and the show. I was hopeful however to see a different type of truck as well.

The key is watching the vehicles parked along the street or driving by. I'm kinda surprised some of our Cali members haven't chimed in and said they were asked to lend their truck to the filming. Heck, I'd park my truck along the curb for them for free!
