Re: tilt colum
Don't see why not.
You'll have the shifter ear in the engine compartment and the stub on the collar up top to deal with. The Neutral safety switch isn't needed for your install so just leave it in place and un-hooked. If looks aren't a large issue then pull the shift lever and leave the stub. If cab looks are an issue... Disassemble it far enough to get the shift collar off. Then cut off the shifter stub. Smooth with filler and fiberglass cloth or use pot-metal propane torch brazing rods to patch over the hole then file/sand smooth and paint... Durafix or Alladin or... you see "that guy" brazing soda cans together with these zinc alloy rods at fairs and boat/car shows with them. http://ezinearticles.com/?Welding-Po...fix&id=2663783 I'd just leave the ear on the bottom.

Re: tilt colum
Would an 88-98 stick shift tilt work?

Re: tilt colum
With lots of work anything is possible.
I'd steer clear of the 1995-2001 T400 CK columns from airbag trucks. The firewall and dash mounts are different. You'd have to lay them side by side and start moving mounts etc. Not sure how different the stub for the engine compartment shaft is. More welding may be needed. Maybe a custom U-Joint steering shaft like the Jeep XJ. The 1988-1994 T400 CK column wiring harness would need to be matched/modified to mate with your CK/RV column plugs. I just posted links to PDFs of 1976-1991 GM wiring diagrams that include 1988 T400 CK diagrams. The steering wheel would fit up to at least 94.
