driver door
My driver door on my 72 blazer sticks. Have to shut hard to get it to stay closed, and once you do just can't open the thing. Barly from the outside, and near impossible from the inside... Anyone else dealt with this problem? I was thinking the jam latch is screwed up?

Sometimes that happens when the top is removed and the rocker boxes are non-existant.

As 2wd blazer described, if your top is off, rocker boxes are shot and/or your body mounts are shot, the body can sag in the middle and cause the doors to bind. Is your top on? What shape are your rocker boxes?
The other problem might be that your hinges are shot and the drivers door is dropping. Not sure if I've asked you this before, but where in NW Washington are you? There are a lot of board members in Washington!

The top has never been off, the rocker are in good shape. Kind of seems like the latch mech. is not functioning properly. The pass. door seems to operate ok....

I have the same problem, but it has a dual symptom. My door around the hinges has rusted thin enough it is flexing on opening(you can watch the metal move when someone else lifts the door at the back). AND my drivers side kick panel has rotted thru at the joint between floor and kicker. With the top off, you can watch the steering wheel drop almost 3/4" when you open the door. Both will be addressed this winter. You need to find the problem, because I've been driving Da Beast so long this way (with a soft top), that I have actually crushed the door longitudinally, and ruined it for any thought of rebuild. And I've torn out 2 of the 3 mounting screw holes for the latch. This baby is getting opened and closed very gingerly for now.

I'll check out the latches this weekend, I tried to see if it was dropping or not, and it didn't look like it to me, but I wasn't really applying myself either
