Re: rarest factory options?
That is the NL2 option, but not sure that is the specific style of auxiliary tank im talking about. Does the fill have a cap that looks identical to the cab fill?

Re: rarest options?
How bout an an 8-track player for 69-72 they were a factory ordered option, or could've been dealer installed. But they were stock in those 4 years!!!

Re: rarest options?
On trucks, it was January 1 1976, so some '76's have them and some dont, but all from '77 and up.

Re: rarest options?
That is the one. The PO of my truck removed the tank, but left the rest. Those tanks are almost impossible to find. At least around my state.

Re: rarest options?
The 8 track was an accessory not an option at least not as a RPO. Drip rail molding is a rare option, offered in 69 discontinued in 70.

Re: rarest options?
Yep. I have a '69 CST 396 truck that has the drip rail trim. They were retained by the rosette rivets used on VIN tags.

Re: rarest options?
Hmmm ^^^
'67 Super Customs weren't exactly rare. That fender badge isn't an option. It's the emblem that came on '67 GMC Super Customs, the Chevy CST equivalent. If this thread was about rare or hard to find parts, that badge would be on the list. It's not available as a reproduced part.
