Panel Light Help

My panel lights are not working I checked the fuse and its good but no power to the fuse I'm thinking its supplied by the light switch when lights are on. So if I replace the switch would it fix the problem? Any info would help.

Question Re: Panel Light Help

Have u checked the plug in on the back of the dash. Make sure it's in tight. There should be a seperate ground wire to the dash also make sure it's good. Does anything work in the dash? U may have a tear in the circuit board to which would keep the lights from working.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Panel Light Help

Try turning your dimmer switch slightly to see if anything lights up. The dimmer part of the light switch is simply a resistance coil and I have seen many burned out in the full bright position. Turning it a bit might illuminate your panel.

Re: Panel Light Help

tried turning the dimmer no help. ran power to fuse and they work. so figure it might be the switch.

Question Re: Panel Light Help

If you ran a new power wire to the switch and turned the switch on then it would be the wiring to the switch I would think. Not the switch. Check the wires from switch back to fuse panel.

Re: Panel Light Help

I ran power just to the panel light fuse in the fuse box. The switch has power headlights and marker lights work including the interior light.
