Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so Jimmy and I started the brake lines and air lines last week. The air lines are all -4an fittings 1/4 inch stainless and the brake lines are 3/16 stainless with -3an fittings. I used single billet specialties clams and the double clamps are from earls. let me know what you guys think.

Man your frame is crazy (in a good way)! I have a question what tool you recommend for bending lines? getting ready to give it a try for the first wanna start with the right tool. Thanks

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

You can buy the bender from auto zone. But the most important tool you need to buy is the flaring tool. I would buy a mastercool tube flarer. It is the bomb and will save you hours of time. It is a littler expensive but worth it. I bought mine from auto zone online it was shipped next day and the total was 262 dollars

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Truck looks great so far.

Did you consider using the frame as the air tank or the front to rear air line?

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

You could leave it as is and it will still have the title of baddest C10 !!!!

Love the attention to detail. Would like to see how the tube bending / flaring is done.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Can't wait to see where you run the exhaust...Looks like it might be a small challenge unless your start out side the frame with the headers...

I think my truck needs a new dentist...
