mixing dot 3 and dot 5 brake fluid?
Has anyone ever mixed dot 3 and dot 5 brake fluid

Why even entertain the idea of DOT 5? Our brake hardware was/is fine with DOT 3.

Mixing DOT 3 & DOT 4 is ok but DOT 5 is pure silicone. It should only be used in certain applications.
