69 hockey puck cab lights

Does anyone know where to find the hockey puck style, round cab lights? Having trouble locating a set of 5 with the gaskets. Thanks in advance if someone knows hows to get them.

Re: 69 hockey puck cab lights

Here are some pics to help you in your quest - I think you are referring to the first pic below (required on 1 tonners and above I think) and NOT the 2nd pic. Here's a good thread also with lots of clearance light info for you: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=451975 (the last 3 pics are just for ref - #3 is the puck, 4 & 5 are the fireman's hat). Your best bet to find the no-longer-produced puck lights is on the parts board - post a "want to buy" or "WTB hockey puck cab clearance ligths" ad and if someone has some for sale, you'll get a holler. Have to be a paying member to use the parts board - but it is very worth the few bucks, you'll be amazed how much you use the parts board. Good luck. Oh, and one more note - i THINK the gasket is the same for either light because they both had to fit the same mount surface of a raised roof clearance light cab. Note that the fireman's hat gasket is round. But it's kinda hard to judge scale between the pics. If you can confirm that they use the same rubber gasket, the gaskets are produced aftermarket - pretty sure LMC has them, but maybe only in a light kit with fireman hats - not sure. Hope that helps.

And yes mine are like pics 1&3, round but the existing lights are a white lens, not yellow or amber, not sure if they have just faded over 40+ years or were originally white. Thanks again for the help

Re: 69 hockey puck cab lights

While not common they are seen on some C/10s and more so on C/20s and C/30s. The C/30 DRW optioned truck included them due to width. If you have a C/10 with factory marker lamps on embossed pads it will be on the SPID as RPO UO1. If it is not there look closely for a cab swap/alteration. There were GM accessory and aftermaket lamps as well. They are installed without the raised pads as does the Suburban's when so equipped.

I think they use the same base and lights from Pic #2 (part# 1313A) as on your hockey puck lenses. NAPA might even sell just the bases.

Re: 69 hockey puck cab lights

The 1313A bases in the second pic will not work for you, they are a universal light and work great on trucks not originally equipped with clearance lights. The bases you want are still available from your GM dealer under part #12337943 and come in a pack of 5 and should cost about 2.80 each.
