th350 shifts too hard

my transmisson caused a tooth to break off my ring gear in the rear differetinal. why would a th350 do this help!

your trans did not do this.

dont care how big of a shift kit you have, trans brake, and the best slicks hooked up like their glued on the street..

That's not a bad shift. A lot of people strive for that. If your ring gear looses a tooth then it was a Grenade with the pin already pulled. Fix that replace your u joints and enjoy the next 100,000 miles out of your trans

your probably right. come to think the differential was leaking oil when i first got it home maybe thats why the tooth broke off. thanks!
