Giving this a bump. I have the chance to score a new tank locally. (12 miles) for my wife's 61. He has it listed as a 67. Will this tank fit? I know in 67 they were still mounted in the cab.

The '67-'72 tanks mount differently in the cab, but you might be able to make it work. If it were mine, I would forget the in cab gas tank and put one under the bed behind the differential. Especially if it was my wife's truck.
