Hump Question....

I've owned a '71 Chev. lwb stepside 2wd, a '72GMC lwb Fleetside 4X4 and now my '70 Chev. swb stepside. I remember the humps were different and I'm sure (at least I think I'm sure) my '70 has a low hump, but what are the heights of the 2 humps and why are there 2 different heights?

4X4 trucks, big block trucks, and any truck with a 4 speed should have a high hump tranny.
Some others have them too, but there seems to be no set rule on it...my 69 1/2 ton GMC has a high hump, it was a 305 V-6 with a TH400.
