Shot shock.... Best way to fix??

The driver side shock on my 87 has came completely out of the frame ! what is the best way to go about fixing this issue?

Not sure if it's differant in 87, but my 78 was just a bolt and a nut on the backside. or am i missing somthing here?

yeah I will try to take a pic but it has wolered it's self out of the frame so the hole in the frame is shot

Sounds like it will need to be welded. Any good fabrication/welding shop should be able to fix it.

You could get by till you can get it welded up with oversized washers on both sides of the shock mount stud.

You can buy 4x4 shock braces that bolt on to support that stud
