Re: Upgraded my 63's passenger side mirror ,what do you think?
Now tell me , do they make a mirror that is like the late model mirrors where objects appear closer that will mount with one stud???
I know they mount mirrors like this on the cars with the curved windsheilds ,I was walking by the truck and thought it was just too easy not to try ... |

I put a round convex mirror on my driver side and shortened the rod about 1.5 inches.

The mirror placement seems to be past the curve of the windshield, is thier any distortion seen in that area?

Re: Upgraded my 63's passenger side mirror ,what do you think?
I dont notice any distortion , just wish it were a wider angle mirror , but still much better than it was when it was hidden behind the vent window ...

A glass shop can probably change the mirror to a convex for you.

A Google search on the term “convex stud mount truck mirror” pops up dozens of links. Also, the same search on Google Images shows a bunch of different designs available.
