with ebay unless it a well known vendor you dont know how well the quality and if you have a problem how well it will be handled, ebay from our experence is hit and miss, we will be restoring a couple chevy trucks so im looking for a reliable vendor we can buy the parts we need for these projects.

They sell one with the braces, too. I am not well versed in ADs, but I assume that the 55 is the same as the others? |

Re: where to buy a 1955 Series 1 floor pan
Chevs of the 40's has it with or without the seat riser. http://www.chevsofthe40s.com/dept/Tr...ngs_Clips.html Scroll down the page.
Their price is 25.00 higher than Brothers but you might see how they treat you on shipping compared to Brothers and the other vendors. Wes who is on here WWW.classicheartbeat.com may or may not have it in stock but he can come up with just about any part Chevy truck wise and only sells what he thinks are the best parts available. If he has it in stock he ships it that day or the next regular business day. I buy a lot off Ebay but try to buy off businesses that also have a store front business that sells the same pieces over the counter in the store.

lmctruck.com
They have complete floor pans or various panel sections, depending on what you need. Likely international freight shipping, no matter who you go with. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Re: where to buy a 1955 Series 1 floor pan
I have the LMC catalogs, the Classic Parts catalog, The Ecklers catalog and the Truck Shop catalog.
For the most part the Classic parts beat all the others in price and I have no problems with the quality. "Occasionally" something will be a bit cheaper cost wise in one of the others. That's why I get as many of the catalogs as I can. All have been free. Just fill out the info on their sites. |
