Re: My Project 1955!
Chuck - did you weld those straight to the camaro clip? The No Limit Mounts use a #2267 Motor Mount, which i actually though when i ordered them they would be complete.. How high did you raise yours?
Also does anyone have a preference of Wiring Harness company's? I need to get my LT1 harness modified to run my engine or buy a new harness.. there's a lot of company's that offer this service. any suggestions would be appreciated. Painless seems to be popular, but they ask double the money than most places for their harnesses... -S |

Re: My Project 1955!
Yep, they are welded directly to the clip. I don't recall how much it raised the engine. I would suggest you put the mounts and the No-Limits piece on your motor and slip it in place and trim what you need to have it sitting where you want it. This should be done with the cab on the frame to ensure you have firewall and floor clearance!

Re: My Project 1955!
Merry Christmas! It's been almost 6 months since I've posted any progress pics... I've been getting after it the past month. I replaced both step-plate/rockers and started body work on my short fleetside bed. Comments are always welcome thanks for looking

Re: My Project 1955!
Thanks guys - I found a 79 chevy Van tilt Steering Column with Cruise Control that I plan on installing. Is there any post on here that talk about hooking up a van tilt column in a 55-59? If you have any info please chime in.. I'm gonna need a steering shaft and other parts to make it work...
Thanks -Shane |
