Diamond Back Tires

Shopping around for a set of wide whites for my truck, but the prices are killing me.

235/70-15 are $229 on their website.

Google search does not bring up much. Anybody found a cheaper place to buy them?

I can get decent black walls for less than $100 each mounted and balanced. It is tough for me to justify the extra expense.

Re: Diamond Back Tires

Try Hurst racing in Portland, OR. link : http://www.hurstracingtires.com/_WHITEWALLS.html

They are a NEW radial that they vulcanize a WW to the outside, similar to other radial WW's. I had them on the 55 wagon and they were awsome. Handled better, felt better, smoother etc. I keep contimplating selling my Burb wheel and tire set up and going with some Wheelsmiths artillery's and Hurst WW's.

Re: Diamond Back Tires

I wrestled with the same...

ended up with some coker firestone 6.70-15s. About 60 bucks cheaper a tire but way more traditional looking!

Re: Diamond Back Tires

What is cool about dbtire is they will do any tire. I have them making a set of 275/40/20 gold lines right now.
