2007 Racer Pops Bullet

This is my youngest daughter and her 2007 Racer Pops Bullet Junior Dragster.

We raced IHRA jr dragsters from when she was 12 years old till she turned 17. She did not want to race the summer before she went off to college. In those five years we pretty much spent every weekend from March to November at a racetrack somewhere along the eastern seaboard. So the last year she wanted to hang out with her local friends.

She was the 2010 Northeast Dragway Jr dragster Bracket Points Champion
Third place in 2011 only 10 points from first (one round of racing) and second place in 7.90 Index. She also won an Iron Man in 2010 at maryland International Raceway. She competed against about 60 other drivers in her age group and was the last one standing. She has 31 final round appearances with 16 wins and 15 runner ups. In one particular race weekend she went 10 consective round wins and won in two seperate classes (bracket and 7.90 index) both round robin racing to get it in before rain came and was the winner in both races. Round robin meaning you make a pass and report right back to the staging lane for your next run, fueled and treated tires sitting in staging lanes)

Very cool. One of my few regrets was not setting up my boy with one of those years back.

Thats to bad it would have been great fun and a learning experience for both of you. If you have grand kids coming up to 8 years old or older then I highly suggest you get them in a Junior and start racing. Its an awsome experience.

One of my favorite pictures of her and the car. This was one of her last races.
