Pretty nice TACH DASH.
I'm going with some custom gauges in the ole truck so I thought this needs to go to a good home. The bezel was new a few years ago. I think the camera flash is making certain parts look not as good as they are. This is not concourse but it's pretty darn nice. I think this would be great for someone that has a really nice truck but maybe not a show truck. A few years back I wend through this and cleaned it really well then touched up the gauge arms. Not prefect but pretty darn nice.
$300 plus FEDEX shipping. Shouldn't be too bad since it's light. |

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
Do all the gauges work? I saw some additional gauges hanging from the dash and just want to make sure tbe tach etc. work. Thanks, Greg

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
Greg....great question. I don't like to monitor my $$$ with factory gauges. That is why I have the autometer gauges down below for the oil and temp. I took this from a '68 Custom Camper and all the lower gauges worked at that time, which means they should still work. The tach works perfect and is wired to an MSD box. Fuel gauge works perfect too. Never had the speedo hooked up because of a trans swap but they are basic mechanical items. That would likely work before any other.

I will also likely let it go with the wiper and lights switches.

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
When you say tach "harness"....do you mean the little "L" plugin? Here are some more pics. Paypal is the way I roll as long as you know how to "payment owed" so we don't get a fee. I did spin the back of the speedo and the needle moved just fine and nice and smooth.

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
I believe he is referring to the wiring harness that goes to the points distributor....

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
Here's the original harness. Brown goes to HEI distributor or points/coil and the red wire with the factory plug for the fuse panel.

Re: Pretty nice TACH DASH.
No I actually had a manual choke in the hole so it didn't look stupid. You can have that if you want. No cable....just the handle and about 4" of the first part. Works good for looks. PM sent.
