Power Steering Pump- Is there an upgrade
On my 70 3/4 350 automatic, 2wd.. Is there an upgrade, Heavy Duty upgrade that can be used instead of the stock pump? I am running LT 245 75 16 bf goodrich and the stock pump just started to whine and leak. The pump looks clean and new that the previous owner put on. Anything?

You shouldn't need an upgrade. Most of these trucks were over assisted from the factory.

Re: Power Steering Pump- Is there an upgrade
I'm not sure of any upgrade pump. You may just need a new pump; aftermarket/replacement pumps (from places like AutoZone/O'Reilly/Advance) aren't always up to snuff.
I had a brand new pump blow the seals out after less than 10 miles, and I made sure all air was purged from the lines before I drove it. Replaced it under warranty, and that pump ran awesome until I sold the truck. Sometimes the new ones are just junk, and don't last as long as they should.
