Steering Column Question - Where can I find these parts?

I took my steering column apart to paint it, and found a couple of parts broken/missing. They are numbers 39 and 40 in the diagram below. The plastic thrust washer is broken, and the rubber ring missing. Does anyone know where I can buy these? All my usual sources have come up empty. If not, what is the thickness of the rubber ring, and is it a hard or soft rubber. Maybe I can make one.
Thanks.

Richard,

There are a couple of good pictures of #39 & #40 I posted in this thread, and a picture of how they fit together.

I don't know if I still have them or not I will have to check in the morning.

Re: Steering Column Question - Where can I find these parts?

OK, now I see why my thrust washer broke. I'm guessing there should not be any end load on the tubular part of the thrust washer - that would be taken by the rubber ring. If I can't find a part I'm sure I can make something that will work.

Thanks!

Richard

Thanks guys, I figure if I haven't used them in the last two years I'm probably not going to. They will fit in a really small padded envelope which I have a lot of so that isn't a big deal. I hope he checks the thread again.

Don't worry about it Richard. It will be less than 2 bucks. Just pay it forward if you ever get the chance.
