Ok, I've seen it done that way just not sure I'd be comfortable with it on my vehicle. It will look AWESOME though.

it will be hard to get to the MC as long as you can get too it to take off the lid you can use a seringe and a little piece of hose to fill it up from underneat the dash
two small holes in from the top under the hood would be eazier but you cant see when the reservour overflows
i guess a daiper on the floor under the MC should be enough to catch any spilling but im not sure if it absorbs oil like substances , its eazy to test if it does though

For you guys that know alot more about the LS stuff then me, i want to run one of the corvette or camaro intakes that set down lower and look alot cleaner , is there anything in particular i need to look for when trying to find one ?

Mike, I think that the "hot ticket" is the LS6 intake (Vette?) as far as factory goes, or a something like a FAST unit for built stuff... Im not terribly familiar with the LS stuff, I mostly do LT1's.

You can use the LS instake off a corvette and it will bolt on no problems at all.You might want to calll Mark at Street performance in Arkanasas.(479)394-5711.He will more in likely have several in his shop and might give you a good deal.Prepare to be on hold for long time.Mark is very sharp on the ls motors

looks like it gains about 15 to 20 hp with the change , from wat i read a camshaft gives a lot of gain too

I got mine off ebay with fuel rail and injectors included for around $300

I wouldnt do a ls6 intake unless you find one for a really good price cause at the cost they go for you might as well get a nice aftermarket one like fast as mentioned before.

yep def need a new waterpump since the truck waterpump top hose hits the tb. THen you can either switch out to camaro/corvette accesories or use spacers for waterpump

Mike, something to think about with the LS1/LS6 intake. You will lose some torque with these intakes, as compared to the "truck" intake. The HP numbers are pretty even when comparing the two (Truck & LS Vette), until about 5500 RPM or so, then the HP numbers fall off the truck intakes.

I don't know the exact numbers, but if you're going to be doing some towing, you may want to look into that a bit, plus the blazer, I'm assuming, is a little heavier than a truck.

FAST intake will provide low end torque that the truck intakes are famous for and deliver that top end HP too. Check it out. Kinda spendy though!

Hey Mike..not sure if you measured this at all when the tank and axle were still in but what was the space like between the axle and front of the gas tank? Is there any room in there at all? Any idea of how many inches it is, In other words do you know if a bag would fit behind axle and infront of gas tank...its hard to get under mine right now to tell. Thanks for any help
