2+ million mile square in a Chevy Commercial

I forgot about this commercial, but I found it again tonight...was looking for a different one that was a mix of generations but this is too good not to share.

Re: 2+ million mile square in a Chevy Commercial

From what I researched, he is an 80 something year old mayor of a small unknown town, used truck to haul gravel its whole life. Its I think a 78?

He bought it new with the 350 olds DIESEL and put about 1 million miles on it and 1 reman short block (covered under warranty/recall) then by that time it was 1985, in which he dropped in the new 6.2 diesel which clocked the rest of the 2 million

so 3 engines, 2 trannies, and the same rear

I say its pretty solid. Im amazed at the million on the olds, but hey, the 6.2 is one stout engine!

Treat your truck like it's the last one you'll ever have and it just might work out that way.
