Open my hood!

My 72 Blazer has a billet grill. The hood release was relocated behind the bumper with a "T" handle. It seems the the nuts holding the handle at the latch up top have come loose. How can access my hood latch now?

Re: Open my hood!

Can you access the grill hardware? If so remove the grill so you can get to the latch.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Open my hood!

this happened to me when i had a billet grille on my 05 dakota. I always used a screwdriver or a pocket knife to push the lever

Re: Open my hood!

Can you wire tie the latch together without hurting the grill for a temporary tightening of the latch to handle.
