Dakota Digital Ride Height Controller (pressure)

Anyone running the dakota pressure ride height controller? I was curious of how well it worked. It looks like it would install pretty easy. I have been planning to run accuair with the e-level but if this works well I may try it! Any advice?

Get the Accuair. The position based height sensing approach is much better than pressure. Many variables affect pressure, but positional sensors are the same every time.

On unlevel ground too?

I still want to know pressure.

By the way, DD offers a kit with sensors, air pressure, or both.

Three variations of DHC kits*are currently available:

The DHC-2000 utilizes proprietary vehicle height sensors (4) to monitor the true vehicle height, regardless of cargo, fuel level, or pressure in the air bags!

The DHC-2001 model controls the vehicle height based solely upon the pressure in the air bags. This system is ideal for slower air systems and offers simplified installation. 5 Pressure sensors (0-150psi included for each air bag, 0-400psi for air tank) included in kit.

The DHC-2002 offers the best of both systems! Vehicle height sensors as well as air pressures sensors are constantly being monitored by the DHC-2002 to offer absolute precision control of the air ride system.* Kit includes 4 height sensors as well as 5 pressure sensors (0-150psi included for each air bag, 0-400psi for air tank).

All systems have the availability to be controlled remotely through the use of ARR-2000, 6-button remote system.

Re: Dakota Digital Ride Height Controller (pressure)

I think if I went this route I'd eventually get both sets of sensors. I was just hoping someone was running one and I could get real customer feedback! Thanks for the info guys!

Re: Dakota Digital Ride Height Controller (pressure)

I would suggest the position based leveling system as well, because it will adjust to the right height, no matter what the weight is in the vehicle. DD and the AccuAir are both great systems. What I like about the DD, it is setup to be mounted in a dash, and saves a few bucks over the AccuAir.

Re: Dakota Digital Ride Height Controller (pressure)

I also recommend the Accuair. Position based sensors are much more accurate than air pressure sensors, and the Accuair is just an awesome high tech package. Not sure what the price difference is, but I assume the Accuair is going to be more expensive.

This would be your Dakota Digital Pressure sensors installed on an Accuair valve.
