Re: body parts
I am just aware of LMC and Brothers for new stuff. If you want original check out Early Classic Enterprises in Clovis California. They have a sea of trucks they part out. I called once for a radiator core support bracket and the guy sent me a whole frame horn since he didn't want to grind the rivets lol. Just took a sawzall to the frame.

Re: body parts
There are a lot of the vendors that carry good quality parts. GMC Pauls is one I have dealt with before. Also Classic Parts and Top Banana have good parts. I think Top Banana may be closer to you.

Re: body parts
Talk to our vendors... Top Banana won't lead you wrong, many others as well...
mostly just a few producers and lots of vendors. some parts you want to stay away from (i.e. tailgates) unless original.

Re: body parts 2nd question
I am not looking for anything just yet actually I was more just wondering and asking the question. do all these places and I mean the big ones like lmc, brothers, classic, etc etc make there own body parts fenders, doors, etc etc. or is there just a few or 1 and they supply all the parts sellers. wondering if I was looking should I be concerned with and checking quality and so forth. Or doesnt it matter because they all come from the same place.

Re: body parts
LMC has some of their own and some tri-plus, the others mentioned have tri-plus. There are two differnt thicknesses when dealing with tri-plus parts. Brothers sells the thicker panels. These are all Taiwan made as far as I know. Some people say all are the same taiwan manufacturer including goodmark and other premium brand names. They are just a name and a sticker on the same parts..
Tabco makes their own panels here in the USA. Several on this forum have used them with better than taiwan/to great reviews. I will be buying my next panels from Tabco http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/

Re: body parts
I have tabco cab corners on my 68 project and can tell you that the metal isn't as "soft" as the taiwan metal. Thickness is probably the same but the taiwan metal does seem to bend pretty easy, that's why i'd stay away from tailgates.

Re: body parts
Has anyone had any luck getting a response from Tabco lately? I have been trying to get lower rear bedside patches from them since last August.
I speak to them one day, they say they have them, couple days later I order and they respond saying out of stock and ETA is 2-3 months. I checked back a couple of times since then and still no stock, and now I get no response. I have tried Top Banana due to recommendations in this thread and no response from them either. Tried Mills Supply, no response. I was looking for the Tabco version of this panel because I know it has the detail around the wheel arch and not just rounded over. Does anyone know where I can get some of these panels?
