Flip kit question. 1976 c10

I just have a quick question about the flip kits out there for my 1976 c10. I found a few ranging from western chassis kits with the notch to the crown suspension U bracket looking thing for 45 bucks. I realize you get what you pay for and I did see the thread about the DJM brackets that had issues. what is the current consences about the difference in the two types of kits. obviously safety first, but how many people are using the less expensive kits with out issue. My truck will not have a power house drive train in it. Thanks for any input.

Re: Flip kit question. 1976 c10

I always used Belltech flip kits on 73-87 trucks.
Western Chassis would be my next choice.
Both are well thought out kits with quality c-notches.
I also like using brand new u-bolts, when messing with the rear suspension of these old trucks.
