OH 57 stepside truck bed fits 55-66? Great Condition

For sale is the stepside bed from my father in law's whole truck bed. This stepside has fiberglass fenders on it that are 2-3" wider than stock. The bed is also tubbed, and has 2 layers of wood for support of the tubs. His truck is gorgeous and was a pro-street truck, but we're putting a 31 gallon blazer tank under the bed and we made it wide whites and non pro-street, so he figures now is the time to swap the bed to one that isn't tubbed and has stock fenders. It has a corvette tail light roll pan, and a louvered tailgate. It includes the fuel cell that was bolted into the front center of the bed. There is a scratch under the lower left curve of one of the fenders, but you're probably going to paint it any way. On the front it looks like there is a scratch in the pics, but that's polishing compound.

It comes with the running boards and brackets for them, the fuel cell, still a whole bed as you see it. He has a whole new custom bed, etc going on and selling this will go towards new wood, fenders, etc. If you have any questions, hit me up on here, and i can give you his number. It's in NE ohio, north of youngstown, in hubbard ohio. Would consider delivering for extra depending how far you are and how much you would pay, but prefer pickup.

I would like to say i'd never driven to NJ for parts, but i drove out there for a rear diff and some bumpers and random other stuff for a 50 chevy project i was working on. My wife (then girlfriend) went with me. Of course now, she'd say have fun and don't let the door hit you on the way out!

All joking aside, you could put it upside down and sideways on a truck bed, just need some cardboard and 55 straps be secure

The only truck I have is in pieces in the garage and the gf has already learned to let me venture alone or be faced with hanging out in the car while I wander through various junks yards.

oh, man I should be all over this. But mines a 97" longbed frame. I been contemplating on shortening it. Ill contact my mechanic n see what he thinks(cost effectiveness). I live on the Illinois-Indiana border so fairly close yeah?

PS: Where he get the wider fenders? He fab them, or does someone make em?

I'm sure someone made them and he just bought them out of a catalog or something, i'm not sure who though, it was before i met him (or met his daughter i should say.) Illinois-Indiana isn't terrible, i've been to Lafayette and back in one day, and used to go to Marion-Carbondale in southern IL and back in a weekend.

I'll see if i can remember to ask him where he got them when i see him this weekend.
