Thinking about buying this truck. 72 C30
Friend of mine found this truck for me, Its a 72, has the typical rockers, and cab corner rust. BUT it does have a jasper 292 with less than 40K since being installed. I went and looked at it today. It hadn't been started in about a year. put a battery on it and it fired up relatively easy. ran good. the 4spd trans, power brakes but not steering. Fairly decent truck for what it is.
If I get it I'm probably going to pull the 292 out and replace with a 350 I have. Just because I really don't want a 6 cylinder for what I plan on doing with it. Wanting to place my 12 ft flat dump bed over on it. The guy wont budge off 800.00 bucks for it. needs a really good cleaning, and some seat work. Sorry these pics are what My friend sent via his phone. forgot to get more when I looked at it today. If I manage to get it here. I'll post up more pics.
